“Recognizing and Understanding Emotional Communications”

“Creating the Relationship That You Want”

ELIAS: Good morning!

JOANNE: Good morning, Elias!

ELIAS: (Chuckling) How shall we proceed?

JOANNE: Beth and I are going split this session, and I guess I’m on here first. So I have a few questions, a couple of questions, and then I’m just going to let you have the floor.

ELIAS: Very well.

JOANNE: My first question is, I would like my husband’s essence name, his family, family alignment, and orientation, please. (Pause)

ELIAS: Essence name, Jule, J-U-L-E (jool); essence family, Sumari; alignment, Gramada; orientation, common.

JOANNE: Okay, Elias, the same thing for my daughter, Lynn.

ELIAS: Essence name, Min, M-I-N; essence family, Vold; alignment, Borledim; orientation, common.

JOANNE: Okay, Elias, for my sister, Vic. (Pause)

ELIAS: Essence name, Alyssa, A-L-Y-S-S-A (ah LIH sah); essence family, Borledim; alignment, Milumet; orientation, common.

JOANNE: Thank you, Elias.

ELIAS: You are quite welcome.

JOANNE: Okay, now my question is, is it possible ... I think I’ve set a line of probabilities in motion, and I kind of like requested that another aspect of me, who I felt was more confident and more sure that she could create her reality, to kind of change places with me. Is that possible? And would you comment on the line of probabilities that I have set into motion, please?

ELIAS: First of all, express to me, what is your viewing of and your impression of this line of probabilities that you are setting into motion?

JOANNE: I feel that I have set them into motion, the line of probabilities that I’m looking at, and that this other aspect of me, when I asked to change places with me for the confidence and the self assurance, I feel that that has taken place and that the line of probabilities are coming my way, or whatever.

ELIAS: And what is your communication to yourself in your validation of this action?

JOANNE: I just feel sure ... I just have like an assurance in ... it’s kind of like an inner feeling that I know this is happening.

ELIAS: Correct. Now; may you express an identification of what you term to be this inner feeling which offers you this validation?

JOANNE: I don’t know. It’s just a self-assurance feeling. I don’t know how to express it, Elias. It’s just kind of like I just have this inner knowing that it’s gonna happen. I don’t know what else to say.

ELIAS: I am inquiring in this manner quite specifically, as you may realize, for I shall validate to you also, yes, you are creating a line of probabilities and you are validating this to yourself, and you are providing yourself with a communication which expresses to you a sureness, so to speak, concerning what you are creating.

The reason I am expressing these types of inquiries to you is that you may allow yourself to become objectively aware of not merely what you are creating but HOW you validate to yourself, and become familiar with your own communication to self. What you are experiencing which creates this sureness within you is a movement into trust and a lack of doubt.

Now; allow yourself to recognize this feeling, so to speak, of the lack of doubt. In this, it may be valuable to you in other experiences and expressions to be recalling this knowing, this experience of a lack of doubt within yourself, for this allows you an avenue of becoming more familiar with your own energy and yourself.

And as you continue to be paying attention and listening to your own communications that you offer to yourself, you shall allow yourself to distinguish those time frameworks in which you are not incorporating doubt – for you shall offer yourself a similar sureness and calmness in your choices – and those time frameworks in which you continue to incorporate some aspects of doubt; which the valuable aspect of this type of recognition lies in allowing yourself to recognize the time frameworks in which you are incorporating some element of doubt, for this offers you the opportunity to examine that and what that is an expression of within yourself, and therefore you may also offer to yourself new choices and more avenues in which you shall be paying attention to your own communication with self.

Now; as to the movement of different aspects of yourself, this also is what you may term to be an interesting allowance of yourself, for you have created a communication within yourself, you have received the communication, and you have allowed the movement.

Now; many aspects of yourself may express certain qualities that may not necessarily be expressed in strength by the primary aspect, but they may be very similar in expression to the primary aspect; and therefore, as you exchange the positions of primary aspect, what you notice in objective expression is a difference in certain qualities, but a continuation of identification of yourself without interruption. Are you understanding?

JOANNE: Yes, I am! It’s so exciting! I love it! (Elias chuckles)

ELIAS: Therefore, I shall be acknowledging of you that you have allowed yourself to be accomplishing of this action. This is not to say that you become someone else; you merely allow yourself to open yourself to be expressing more of who you are.

JOANNE: Thank you, Elias. That was wonderful. You have the floor, anything that you think that I need to know.

ELIAS: Let me express to you, what may be significant in this movement that you are creating presently is to be holding your attention, once again, within the now, and paying attention to what you are creating and what you are offering to yourself in communication with yourself – not merely through your impressions, but also through all of the other avenues of communication that you have created within your physical focus; one in particular being your communication of emotion.

In this time framework, as you all continue to be engaging this wave in consciousness addressing to the belief system of duplicity, you also are offering yourselves more communications through the interaction of emotion, which offers you a clear and precise identification of what you are actually engaging and creating within the moment.

Therefore, in paying attention to those communications, you may also offer yourself much more clarity in what you are creating in your individual movement, for the objective imagery is quite changeable; but what you are, in a manner of speaking, inwardly creating and affecting in relation to your perception is much more constant. Are you understanding?

JOANNE: I think I’m going to have to read that over again, but basically I get it.

ELIAS: Very well.

JOANNE: I just want you to speak whatever you think I need to hear. I don’t have any more questions right now.

ELIAS: And this is what I have offered to you, to be paying attention to your communications, for this shall be also helpful to you in continuing to not be incorporating the doubt of your abilities.

JOANNE: Elias, that is really cool. I’m fascinated with the transcript that says how we create the people that we interact with according to what our perception of them is. I’ve been reading that and going back and reading it and reading it, and I’m just amazed by it! (Elias chuckles)

ELIAS: In actuality this IS the nature of your reality. But let me express to you that you also create the individual, the projection of the individual, in association with the blueprint that you receive from the other focus, from the other individual. Therefore, there is also an actual interaction, indirectly, between yourself and other individuals, for you are creating your image of these other individuals in relation to their projection of energy. But what you actually directly interact with is not another individual per se, but your perception of the other individual. Therefore, it is a creation of you that is presented to you, and what you interact with are the expressions of the other individual that shall reflect aspects of you.

This is the manner in which you efficiently create your reality in relation to other individuals. Those expressions or aspects of the actual other individual that are not necessarily reflecting aspects of you within a particular moment, you do not draw to yourself and you do not pay attention to. You hold your attention upon the expressions and aspects of another individual that reflect some aspect of yourself, and therefore offers you information concerning yourself and allows you to become more familiar with yourself. As I have stated previously, you already know other individuals; yourself is the one individual that you are unfamiliar with within your reality. (Laughing)

JOANNE: (Laughs) I guess that’s what we’re widening our awareness to – ourselves!

ELIAS: Quite! Ha ha ha ha!

JOANNE: Okay, Elias. I guess I’m going on to Beth’s questions then. I thought she was going to come over here and talk, but I guess I will. She has a situation where she does personal training for this company, and she created this situation with them concerning ... now they want to put her on salary and all this. She wants to know why she created this and what she can do to change it, I guess.

ELIAS: First of all, I shall pose the question in response to the individual, what is her impression as to why she has created this situation? What...

JOANNE: (To Beth) What is your impression ... why do you think you created this situation with them?

ELIAS: What is her impression concerning what she is attempting to communicate to herself presently?

JOANNE: Okay, here she is. (To Beth) Go ahead.

BETH: I think I haven’t ... I know “work hard” isn’t what I’m trying to say, but I haven’t tried to get any more companies, and that’s what I want to do, is get more companies so I can hire people to be under me to do personal training. I think that kind of opened my eyes.

ELIAS: In your terms, in your manner of speaking, identify what you have opened your eyes to. (Pause)

BETH: Um, what do you mean? What am I seeing from them? I guess trying to cut my salary.

ELIAS: And what is your assessment of this situation?

BETH: I don’t understand.

ELIAS: Very well. You have created this situation.

Now; in recognizing that you have created this situation, you also are expressing a communication to yourself in this creation.

Now; let us together examine what this communication is. First of all, express to me what is your feeling, what is your emotion, in relation to this situation?

BETH: I don’t really feel any ... I mean, I didn’t go “Oh my gosh, I might have to work another job,” or it didn’t...

ELIAS: But you have presented yourself with an initial emotion. It matters not that it may not have been expressed in extreme or strongly. You have presented yourself with an initial emotion. Attempt to be recognizing what that initial emotion was. (Pause)

BETH: I still don’t know what it is, I guess, at this point.

ELIAS: Shall I express to you an initial expression of disappointment and partial frustration? Correct?

BETH: Yes.

ELIAS: Now; I am creating this conversation with you purposefully, for this is the manner in which you offer yourself information, and therefore it holds significance and importance that you allow yourself to be listening to your own communication and recognizing its expression. For many times within physical focus, you and other individuals are not paying attention to your communication, and therefore you become confused and you inquire to yourself and to other individuals or perhaps even to myself, “What am I creating? What am I attempting to be expressing to myself? Why have I presented this situation to myself and what am I doing?” so to speak.

Now; the manner in which you may begin answering those very questions is to be allowing yourself the recognition of what you are already expressing to yourself, and one of the avenues that you clearly may view is the communication that you offer to yourself through emotion.

Now; it is a familiar action for yourself and many individuals to be attempting to override those communications through your thoughts. Therefore, what you move into is a brief initial recognition that you have expressed an emotional communication to yourself, but you discount this and you override it – or you attempt to override it – through your thought process, and you create different types of analyzations and thoughts that distract you from what you are actually communicating to yourself.

Now; the expression of the emotion of disappointment and frustration communicated a message to you. You received this signal briefly and temporarily, but you were not paying attention to the message which was offered beyond the signal, so to speak.

The message was an identification in the moment of, “In this moment I am experiencing a feeling of disappointment, and the reason I am experiencing this disappointment is that I have discounted my own ability to be creating what I want,” and once that communication is expressed – but you have not recognized it, therefore you have not received the message – you created another message of frustration, and the frustration is communicating to you that you are not paying attention to what you are expressing and creating within yourself.

Now; the physical imagery is the interaction that you have created in relation to this job, so to speak. The physical imagery is expressed in a manner which identifies, abstractly, your creation of safety in what you have already created, but also your frustration in not allowing yourself to explore beyond the safety of what you have already expressed and experienced. Are you understanding thus far?

BETH: Yes. Do you mean there at the end, “Are you exploring?” What do you mean by that?

ELIAS: In this, you have already created a physical situation. You have already created physical imagery in relation to this particular job, which creates a sense, in a manner of speaking, of safety or what you identify as security. But it also limits your exploration of your own abilities and the exploration of how you may be incorporating more of your own creativity in allowing yourself to move beyond this situation of security and safety. But that expression is held quite strongly; therefore it creates a type of block in relation to your movement beyond this creation. Are you understanding?

BETH: Yes.

ELIAS: Now; in allowing yourself to recognize these types of communications that you are offering to yourself, and recognize what you have created and what you are expressing to yourself, you also offer yourself the opportunity to address to that, and to recognize that you indeed hold other choices and it is unnecessary for you to be limiting yourself, and that you may express to yourself, “Ah, I recognize that I am restraining myself in relation to a sense of safety. But now in recognition of that expression, I may allow myself a new adventure without fear, and I may express to myself an acknowledgment that I may be creating that sense, so to speak, of safety in my abilities, regardless of what I choose to be creating. It is not necessary that I hold to this familiar, for this familiar is not the only expression of security.” Are you understanding?

BETH: Yes. What else do you think I can do?

ELIAS: Allow yourself to genuinely examine your beliefs and your assessment of your ability, and in that examination, offer to yourself the question, what is it within you that is expressing to you that you cannot create? What is the expression of denial? What are you doubting in relation to your abilities in this present now?

BETH: Okay.

JOANNE: (To Beth) Are you okay with that answer? Can you go along with that then?

BETH: (To Joanne) I want to figure it out myself, don’t I?

Okay. My next question: in the relationship that I’m in now, how can I make it work out to the way I want it to?

ELIAS: Ah! Now; I may express to you this also follows similar direction to what we have been discussing already.

Now; in this, I may express to you very simply, the manner in which you create the relationship to be moving in the way, in your terms, that you want it to be moving is to be concentrating your attention upon you. The reason that you are incorporating confusion and conflict and you are not creating what you want is that you are holding your attention upon the other individual, and you are reacting and responding to the other individual.

Now; in paying attention to you and identifying – and this is key – identifying precisely what you want in the creation of this relationship, once you have moved into that recognition then you may offer yourself permission to create that.

Recognize, realize, realistically speaking, your relationship in its entirety with another individual is created through your perception. It is not created by the interaction of the other individual. It is created through your perception of the interaction. Therefore, allowing yourself to turn your attention, and not concentrating your attention upon the other individual but concentrating your attention upon you and what YOU want to be creating, and offering yourself permission to actually create that, shall be the method, so to speak, in how you shall accomplish creating the relationship in the manner that you want.

I may express to you also a suggestion. You may consider engaging interaction with Michael concerning this particular subject matter, and this may be helpful to you in your understanding of this particular type of movement and perception, for I may express to you quite genuinely the acknowledgment that Michael is offering himself an understanding and clarity in relation to this type of movement. Therefore, it may be beneficial to you to engage interaction with him.

BETH: Okay. How come I feel, visualize, and see this relationship how I want it, even my personal training also, but I feel it, in a sense, backslide?

ELIAS: I shall express to you, within this present now and within the familiarity of how you have created your reality previously, it is requiring of practice to be continuously reinforcing yourself, and reminding yourself to be paying attention to you, and also practicing noticing and recognizing the time frameworks in which you are NOT paying attention to you, for it is quite familiar to you all to be paying attention to situations and individuals outside of yourselves. It is unfamiliar to continue to be aware objectively of yourself and to be aware of the now. It is easily expressed within you to be projecting your attention into the future or recalling past experiences, and this distracts your attention from the now and from yourself and what you want and what you are creating and your allowance of yourself to be creating what you want.

Let me express to you, I understand the difficulty that is experienced in this type of movement, for it is genuinely unfamiliar and therefore presents tremendous challenges. But I may also express to you quite genuinely that it is possible, and it is a tremendous expression of freedom as you allow yourself to recognize your own power and your own ability to be creating your reality.

You may express to yourself in words that you create your reality, and I shall express to you quite definitely, you do not believe these words; you believe them merely in part. SOME aspects of your reality you believe you create – you do not believe that you create ALL of your reality – and this is the discovery of you, your ability, your power in energy, that you actually do create every expression, every aspect of ALL of your reality, even other individuals.

Therefore, why may you not create a relationship in the manner in which you want to create it, for you are creating it with yourself? The other individual is a projection of your perception. Therefore, you may create the relationship to be expressed in whatever manner you wish.

BETH: So what more do I ... I mean, are there any exercises I can do, or...?

ELIAS: Merely be paying attention. Let me express to you, in a manner of speaking you may view your first step to be noticing each time you are paying attention to expressions outside of yourself and not paying attention to you. Allow yourself to practice with this first, for this shall be reinforcing to you in allowing you to recognize those areas in which you do not allow yourself choices, those expressions in which you allow other individuals to dictate to you what your choices are or shall be. Therefore, allow this to be your first step, merely to be noticing when you are not paying attention to you and when you are holding your attention upon situations or individuals outside of you.

And as you notice that you are engaging that action of paying attention to the other individual or to situations outside of yourself, allow yourself a momentary recognition of how in that moment and in that action you are also allowing the situation or the expression of the other individual to dictate to you what your choices are. For once you begin recognizing how you allow other individuals or situations to dictate to you, you begin recognizing how you are denying your own choices and therefore become the victim to yourself; and once you recognize this identification, you may begin movement into offering yourself choice, and not allowing yourself to be dictated to and not denying yourself your choice.

How shall you be offering yourself choices if you are not recognizing that you are denying your own choices? First you must recognize when you are denying your choices. Recognize when you are allowing other individuals or situations to dictate to you. If you are not recognizing those expressions that are being dictated to you, that you are allowing to be dictated to you, what shall you offer yourself in choice of change?

BETH: Well, I thought I was doing ... sometimes I can tell when I do that.

ELIAS: Correct. Now allow yourself to become more aware, and to be paying attention to the now more often. (Chuckles) For this shall allow you the freedom of choice to be creating what YOU want to be creating, not what other individuals suppose you SHOULD be creating; not what you express to yourself that you SHOULD be creating or should not be creating, but what you WANT to be creating and what you are expressing within yourself that is preventing you from creating that want.

BETH: Well, I thought I was doing that, to be honest.

ELIAS: Partially. But were you allowing yourself the type of recognition that you wish to be expressing, you would not be posing these questions to myself.

BETH: Yeah, that’s true! (They both laugh)

ELIAS: Therefore, there is an expression of dissatisfaction with what you are expressing, and a beginning of a recognition that you are denying yourself your own choices; but you are engaging conversation with myself this day to be allowing yourself a clearer identification of this action and therefore offering yourself more of a recognition of your abilities, your choices, and your power of your energy.

Therefore, acknowledge yourself. I am not discounting of your movement that you have already engaged; I am not discounting of your awareness. I am merely offering to you the acknowledgment that you wish to be expressing more of that awareness, and therefore you have engaged conversation with myself this day, to be offering yourself a clearer recognition of what you want; and therefore I express an encouragement to you to continue to be creating this, and paying attention to you and what YOU want. For this is the point, to be allowing yourself permission to be creating this in whichever manner you chose, not in what may be dictated by another individual.

BETH: Okay, I have one more question.

ELIAS: Very well.

BETH: Can I ask you what Debbie’s essence name, family, and alignment is?

JOANNE: Including her orientation.

BETH: And her orientation. (Pause)

ELIAS: Essence name, Lise, L-I-S-E (lees); essence family, Sumafi; alignment, Tumold; orientation, common.

BETH: Thank you!

ELIAS: You are very welcome, my friend.

JOANNE: Elias, I have one kind of quick question. My husband’s job is going to end May 30, and he is just so absolutely sure – he put in an application for another job – that he is going to get this other job that he put in an application for. Can you comment on that, please?

ELIAS: (Laughs) And you move into the nature of crystal ball questions!

JOANNE: (Laughing) Sorry!

ELIAS: Ha ha ha ha! My comment, so to speak, in relation to this is an acknowledgment of the individual’s trust of his ability to be creating what he wishes to be creating.

JOANNE: Wonderful. He’ll be glad to hear that. (Elias laughs) Are there any closing comments that you want to make?

ELIAS: Merely an offering to you both of tremendous encouragement in this new adventure that you engage and your explorations of yourselves through your own movement. I am, in genuineness, greatly encouraging of you each, and you may be offering acknowledgment to yourselves in your accomplishments. I express to you both a tremendous affection and an anticipation of our continued interaction and our next meeting.

JOANNE: Elias, thank you so much. This is all so exciting, this new millennium and everything, and we are just so excited about it. Thank you for all the energy that you’ve sent us and everything, and all the help you’ve been.

ELIAS: And I shall continue to express in this manner. To you both in great lovingness and, as I have stated, encouragement, au revoir.

JOANNE: Thank you, Elias. Bye.
