Elias arrives at 10:33 AM. (Arrival time is 25 seconds.)

ELIAS: Good morning!

JULIA: Hello! How are you?

ELIAS: As always, and yourself?

JULIA: Iím good. (Elias chuckles) This is my first time doing this, so Iím a little nervous. But Iím Moorah, and whatís my orientation, alignment, and family?

ELIAS: Offer to myself your impression.

JULIA: My impression?

ELIAS: Yes.

JULIA: Sumafi? Is that correct for family?

ELIAS: Continue.

JULIA: Alignment, Iím not quite sure what alignment exactly is, but...

ELIAS: And have you spoken with your father in relation to this information? (1)

JULIA: Yes, I have, but Iíve forgotten what the alignment was. (Elias laughs) I just wanted to know again.

ELIAS: Let me express to you that you may be acquiring this information in relation to your father, for this has been offered and it has not altered, and in this, you may choose to be allowing yourself to be incorporating the descriptions of these families, that you may offer yourself a clearer understanding of the qualities of these essence families and how they are incorporated in your individual expressions. You may inquire of Michael, if you are so choosing.

JULIA: Okay. What is my intent for this focus?

ELIAS: The intent of the individual may be discovered as you allow yourself to examine the entirety of your focus and allow yourself to identify the theme, in a manner of speaking.

What I am expressing to you is to examine the entirety of your focus, from what you recognize as being a small child to this present now, and allow yourself to discover what your individual theme has been; for each individual incorporates a particular direction in each focus, and that direction is what motivates all of your experiences.

Now; the reason that it holds significance and importance that you allow yourself to attempt to view your theme or your direction in this focus is that this offers you individually more of an understanding and familiarity with yourself. I may offer certain information to you, but the information that I offer to you in this type of questioning is incorporated merely as a concept rather than a genuine knowing of self; whereas, as you allow yourself to genuinely examine and discover your own movement, you also allow yourself validations concerning yourself, and you create more of a familiarity in your own relationship with yourself. Are you understanding?

JULIA: I think I understand. Iím kind of like exploring myself?

ELIAS: Yes.

JULIA: Thatís cool.

When I first learned about you was when my dad talked to me about why I dyed my hair blue. (2) (Elias chuckles) He said I was subjectively talking to you, but I thought I dyed it for school for my science team. I just want to know, what was going on there?

ELIAS: Let me express to you, my friend, within physical focus, in any moment, you create choices and implement actions that incorporate more than one layer. There are more actual actions occurring in each choice that you engage.

In this, objectively you have created a choice to be enacting a certain movement, and in that, in other layers of that choice you have also allowed yourself to be engaging other actions. You very well may have chosen to be altering the color of your hair in many different manners. You may have chosen to be incorporating white or gold...

JULIA: Yeah, Iíve dyed my hair also pink and green (Elias chuckles), and this was recently, probably within the last month, so...

ELIAS: Ha ha ha! But you chose in that time framework to be incorporating blue, and in this you objectively offer yourself reasoning, rationale, that you have chosen this color to be in alignment with your school activities. But you also chose that color as an allowance of an introduction between yourself and myself, for this color of blue is a vibrational quality that I choose in association with my energy.

JULIA: Wow. Thatís cool! (Elias chuckles) Why did I dye my hair pink and green the other times before, like within the last month?

ELIAS: In experimentation of freedom and an expression of individuality and directing of yourself.

JULIA: Also when my hair was blue I had a dream, and I think I know what it means, but thereís a part in the dream that I was kind of confused about. In the dream, the wheels broke on the car we built for my science team and I had to find a wheel guy, and after thinking about it I assumed that this was you that I was looking for.

ELIAS: Offer your interpretation of the imagery of the dream, beyond looking for myself.

JULIA: Well, my dad was there, he directed me, so ... but there was another part of the dream where there was a lunch table and there were six seats. At one seat was Alan my prom date, and next to him was my best friend at the time, Ziggie, and she kind of ignored me and talked to this little boy. Next to me was Matt, and the other side next to me was open, there was nobody sitting there. Then somebody sat down and they were kind of really big and fat, and they started harassing me. I just kind of like whacked them with my purse and walked off. I think that maybe the person that came to sit down next to me had something to do with me rejecting something.

ELIAS: And is this your confusion and question concerning your dream imagery?

JULIA: What was that whole lunch table scene about?

ELIAS: Very well. This aspect of your dream imagery is a presentment to yourself concerning familiar and unfamiliar. You present to yourself this meeting place which represents comfort and familiarity, and you surround yourself with other individuals that also represent familiarity and to a degree comfort, but in this you also present to yourself one individual that is familiar to you that you incorporate a slight aspect of discomfort with, but not in extreme. This represents your communication to yourself that at times even within the expressions of what is familiar to you they may not necessarily always appear comfortable. Subsequently, you introduce a stranger in this familiar setting, so to speak, and this stranger appears to you to be large and also to be not comfortable and almost threatening.

Now; this individual is your representation to yourself of aspects of your reality that you are beginning to explore that are unfamiliar, and in this, at times that may appear to you temporarily as being threatening. But your action is to be aggressive to this symbol that is threatening to you and to not allow yourself to incorporate engaging the threatening aspect of it. Therefore, what you are expressing to yourself in this imagery is first of all a recognition that there are indeed expressions that are being and may be futurely incorporated within your experiences that may be unfamiliar and may initially feel threatening, but that you also incorporate choices and need not be experiencing fear in relation to what is unfamiliar, and that you hold the ability to choose how to incorporate different experiences that are unfamiliar in a beneficial manner to yourself.

Therefore, in a manner of speaking this imagery that you have presented to yourself is your manner in which you have validated yourself concerning your ability to move efficiently even in unfamiliar situations. Are you understanding?

JULIA: Yes, I think. So that whole part of the dream was just kind of saying how I deal with things that Iím not familiar with and that I shouldnít be afraid of them?

ELIAS: In a manner of speaking, yes. The individual is a representation. It is not a literal expression of imagery of a person, so to speak.

JULIA: Okay. Another one: there used to be a tree outside my window and it was slowly cut down. It was struck by lightening and big branches would fall, and finally itís gone. I was wondering if that had anything to do with me being more open towards things and kind of seeing the bigger picture or something like that?

ELIAS: I am acknowledging of you, my friend, for your interpretation of this imagery is quite correct, in dismantling obstacles in your movement to allow yourself more of a clarity in your perception and how you view your reality.

JULIA: This weekend was Homecoming, and Matt came back. I know he really doesnít like it here, and I didnít think he would come back just to see me, but I was wondering, what was his real reason in coming back?

ELIAS: And what is the nature of your concern?

JULIA: Well, I just thought that like ... I donít really know. I just kind of wanted to know if he really cares about me or if he just cares about himself.

ELIAS: (Chuckling) Very well. I shall answer your question, but I shall also offer a different direction of information to you in relation to your question. First of all, I may express to you, yes, this individual is partially focusing attention upon himself but also there is a draw to you in relation to your energy.

Now; is this draw to you an expression of romanticism? Not necessarily. Does the individual identify and recognize the expression of their draw to you in this now, objectively? No. Or I may express to you, is the other individual aware of why he has drawn himself to you objectively? No, but there is a recognition of a draw.

Now; beyond this, you offer this question not necessarily in relation to what the other individual is creating, but more so you are offering this question to myself in relation to your own confusion as to why YOU are creating this situation.

JULIA: Yes, I guess so. (Elias laughs) That sounds right.

ELIAS: And I may express to you, you are offering yourself the creation of this situation to allow yourself to pay attention to your choices and what YOU want, not what the other individual chooses, not what the other individual wants; but you have created this situation to allow yourself the opportunity to genuinely and realistically examine what YOU want and to objectively recognize your OWN direction.

This, in actuality, my friend, is quite significant. For once again, in relation to the previous question concerning your dream, you are offering yourself different layers in specific experiences. You offer yourself objectively familiarity, but also an unfamiliar movement of allowing yourself to genuinely examine what you yourself want, rather than an automatic response. In this, you also offer yourself the opportunity to create choices and direct yourself in experimenting with how you create what you want, and validating yourself that you actually may create that, and that it is not dependent upon the expressions of other individuals or what they choose. YOU direct.

JULIA: Oh, are you saying something about how my mom, how I feel she sometimes tells me what to do when I donít really want to do it, or something like that?

ELIAS: Quite similar.

JULIA: Yeah? Okay.

ELIAS: You, my friend, are directing you.

JULIA: Is my mom really confused by me, by like some of the actions that I do?

ELIAS: (Laughs) At times, but not as confused as you may perceive her to be! Ha ha ha!

JULIA: Okay. (Laughing) ĎCause I know she had a big problem with my hair being blue, or I thought she did, so...

ELIAS: (Chuckling) But as I have stated, my friend, these types of actions that you incorporate are being expressed quite purposefully by yourself. For in this, you are not expressing what is associated in mass beliefs as an expression of defiance which is associated with your particular age group, so to speak.

You are expressing very similarly to many, many, many other individuals that are associated with the age group, so to speak, that you incorporate. What you are choosing is not defiance but rather merely to be creating actions of directing yourselves, for you recognize that this is inherent within you and that you do not necessarily align as strongly with mass beliefs as other individuals.

You have manifest yourself in this physical dimension within a particular time framework and a particular movement of this shift in consciousness, incorporating an allowance of widening your awareness in a different manner than individuals that incorporate what you deem to be greater age than yourself. I may also express to you, individuals manifesting as very small ones in this time framework incorporate this wider awareness in even younger ages, for each age is manifesting in different expressions of this shift in consciousness and are in alignment with it. Therefore, at times you may view that individuals that incorporate greater age than yourself may express some confusion with your behaviors or may express certain associations with your behaviors that may not necessarily be accurate, but they are aligning with what they know in association with their beliefs and their experiences and their awareness in this time framework.

Your awareness incorporates a knowing of your directing of yourself, more so than these individuals incorporated in the time that they expressed the same age as yourself. Are you understanding?

JULIA: Yes, when they were in the same timeframe as me they didnít have the same expressions ... well, not the same expressions, but they didnít express themselves in the same way?

ELIAS: They did not incorporate the same awareness of self and how they direct themselves, and [did not] allow themselves the freedom of directing themselves in that time framework. You have manifest in a different aspect of movement of this shift in consciousness. Therefore, your awareness now is quite similar to their awareness now, but their association with your awareness is confusing to them, for they are continuing to associate with age rather than time framework.

JULIA: The shift has been going on for quite a while now, right?

ELIAS: In your terms, yes.

JULIA: But when the event that happened in New York, when that happened, I didnít really feel ... I just felt like they hadnít decided for all those people to die, they had decided themselves. I didnít really feel very distressed or anything like that, how everybody else was feeling. Is that kind of realizing some of the shift, or something like that?

ELIAS: Yes, incorporating an understanding that each individual is choosing, and therefore not aligning with the mass beliefs concerning victims and separation and grief.

JULIA: One day I was walking home from school and I was in an intersection. A car was coming towards me and I was in the middle, and I kind of stopped and paused and didnít know really what to do; then I went forward. I was wondering if this is how I make my decisions, possibly?

ELIAS: Partially. This is an action of receiving a communication through impulse and allowing yourself to be responding to that communication without necessarily incorporating the translation of thought, but rather allowing yourself to trust your impulse and choose actions that are in alignment with your own communication with yourself. This does not necessarily incorporate thought, many times.

For thought, as I have expressed previously, is a mechanism of interpretation and translation, and many times, if you are paying attention to your communications and allowing yourself to choose in accordance with your communications to self, it is unnecessary to be incorporating thinking concerning what you are choosing.

JULIA: So that was just kinda ... Iím a little confused still.

ELIAS: You acted and you chose without much thinking, correct?

JULIA: Right.

ELIAS: And what you chose was effective and what you may term to be beneficial to yourself.

Now; in objective terms, in alignment with mass beliefs, you may have expressed to yourself that you naturally protected yourself, correct?

JULIA: Right.

ELIAS: But in actuality there was no expression of protection, for it is unnecessary to express that you need be protecting yourself. For you have trusted your impulses and allowed yourself to merely follow those impulses, and therefore chose an action without thinking.

This is a movement of trusting yourself without thinking, allowing yourself to respond to your own communications, your own impulses, and this creates a natural movement in which you do not create harmfulness to yourself.

JULIA: So I was kind of showing myself that I trust myself not to harm myself?

ELIAS: Yes.

JULIA: One day I was rollerblading, and I saw the parents of my friend from middle school. When I was stopping to talk to them, I fell and I skinned my knees pretty badly, and I have a scar there now. I was wondering if that had something to do with me changing from who I was and being more open and stuff like that?

ELIAS: Once again, offer your impression concerning this scenario.

JULIA: All right. Well, I think that when I was younger I was a lot different, probably not as accepting or open to stuff, and so I think by falling it was kind of representing how Iíve changed.

ELIAS: And express to myself, what is your interpretation concerning the action of falling, why you have chosen that action to emphasize a movement to yourself.

JULIA: Youíre asking why do I think I fell?

ELIAS: Yes.

JULIA: I think I fell because I wanted to show myself that I was different now.

ELIAS: (In an acknowledging tone) Very well, my friend! This is what I am expressing to you. Pay attention to how you are engaging this conversation with myself. Allow yourself to recognize in this now that in actuality you DO incorporate an awareness of yourself. You may trust yourself, for you ARE understanding what you are creating in your movement in your focus, and you may trust this and not doubt.

JULIA: So youíre saying that when things happen to me, that if I think about it I will realize why I did that?

ELIAS: Quite; yes.

JULIA: In other words, Iím very aware of whatís going on?

ELIAS: Yes.

JULIA: I have the choices and decisions to create what I want?

ELIAS: Yes, my friend.

JULIA: Is everybody like this or is it...?

ELIAS: In actuality, yes; although I may express to you, many individuals are quite unfamiliar with paying attention to self and are not necessarily yet objectively recognizing that in actuality what they create is not hidden from them [and] what they incorporate in choices is not being expressed in a manner which is unavailable to them in information. This also you may recognize as a slight difference in the expression of yourself in the incorporation of your awareness.

What I am expressing to you, my friend, is not that other individuals are not aware or are not creating the same type of widening of awareness that you are incorporating. But there are strongly expressed beliefs in association with age, that an individual may be incorporating a widening of awareness which allows them to understand and recognize objectively what they are creating, why they are creating, and how they are creating; but if they are incorporating greater physical age than yourself, they shall look to you and expect that you shall not hold this same awareness, for you incorporate younger age Ė but you DO incorporate this type of awareness.

Individuals that incorporate quite young ages, in your terms of small children, also incorporate this same awareness of self, and the expectation is expressed that they do not incorporate great enough age to be holding that type of awareness. There is an expectation expressed that they should not be as aware for they are too young, and you are too young.

Now; how this is affecting of YOU in relation to mass beliefs is that this creates a doubt and confusion within yourself, for you recognize that you ARE aware and that you DO know your communications to yourself; but in relation to mass beliefs, you also yourself question what you know, for underlyingly there is an expression in association with mass beliefs, that perhaps you should not know for you are not old enough to know yet. But you do! Ha ha ha!

JULIA: That makes a lot of sense. (Laughs)

The past couple of weeks, in the evening sometimes, Iíve had these really very, very strong emotions of being sad or angry. I try to think about why Iím feeling that way, and I really canít find a reason why. Is it because I want to experience those emotions?

ELIAS: I may express to you, my friend, although you have expressed to me that you are not incorporating an objective expression in relation to the mass event which has been created, you are also participating in this mass event; and in your participation, although you recognize that each individual that has physically participated in certain actions in this mass event has chosen that action, you also are participating, and in your participation the reason that you incorporate expressions of sadness and also of anger is in association with your own expression in your participation.

The anger is expressed in a lack of recognition of some of your choices concerning how you shall be expressing your energy and whether it is affecting or not. The sorrow is an expression that you are incorporating in relation to the extremes in which the collective has chosen to be expressing experiences to gain your attention and that in actuality this is unnecessary, but it has been expressed.

In your recognition within self and your participation in this movement now in relation to this mass event, you are expressing a communication to yourself. As I have expressed with many other individuals, emotion is a communication. Therefore as you incorporate this emotion of sorrow, you are expressing a communication to yourself in relation to what YOU are creating, not what you view to have been created outside of you, but your participation.

The sorrow is expressed in disappointment. The disappointment is associated with beliefs and judgments, judgment upon self that you could have or should have participated differently.

Let me express to you, my friend, this is not the point. Although it may be unnecessary to incorporate trauma such as this mass event, it also is merely a choice, and it is purposeful in its expression. For as you express an emotional communication to yourself, you also offer yourself the opportunity to view your own beliefs and the influence of them concerning better and worse, and recognize that it matters not. Choices are merely choices.

You are not powerless, and the energy that you express IS affecting. Although it may not objectively appear to be affecting and you may view yourself as not necessarily incorporating much attention in relation to the movement that is occurring en masse presently, you are offering yourself emotional communications, and this is the reason that you allow yourself to pay attention that you ARE participating, and therefore allow yourself to become more familiar with your own expression and HOW you are participating.

The expression of anger is yourself communicating to you that in that moment you are not viewing your choices. You are expressing to yourself in that moment that you do not hold choices; you do not see them. This is the expression of anger.

Your communication to yourself of sorrow is an expression within yourself of disappointment, and the opportunity to examine what you are incorporating within YOU that creates this disappointment. Are you understanding?

JULIA: So Iím sad because Iím disappointed that I donít know why Iím Iím acting that way?

ELIAS: Very well Ė let us incorporate a simplicity in example. Within any particular day, you may be moving through your day incorporating familiar actions, interacting with individuals throughout your day, and you may incorporate some small interactions with other individuals that may be expressions of slight conflict or confusion, and as you move into your evening hours, you begin expressing this emotional communication, and you, in your terms, begin to feel sad.

Now; you turn your attention to the signal, the feeling of sadness, and attempt to identify to yourself ďwhy am I feeling sad?Ē Therefore, your attention moves to your thoughts and you recall the events of your day, for you view the sadness to be a reaction: some thing must have occurred throughout your day that is creating this expression of sadness, for you must be reacting to some expression within your day. But no action has occurred within your day that appears to you to warrant this expression of sadness, correct?

JULIA: Yes, correct.

ELIAS: Therefore you become confused, and you inquire within yourself why; but you are merely viewing the signal.

Now; what is actually being expressed is a communication, and in that communication you are speaking to yourself and identifying in the moment what you are expressing. In this, what you are communicating to yourself in that moment is an alignment with a belief that you SHOULD be expressing yourself differently; you SHOULD be incorporating different actions.

For example, hypothetically, you awake within your morning, you move in familiar directions, you incorporate school, you interact with your teachers [and] with your comrades throughout the day, and perhaps you encounter an individual that you view as a friend and briefly you encounter frustration with this individual and your interaction with them may briefly be conflicting; but you continue to move through your day, and subsequently you are engaging interaction with this friend and you are not incorporating conflict. You return to your home and you engage interaction with your mother or your siblings, and you may incorporate an aspect of conflict with any of these individuals. It may be brief, and you may continue and not offer yourself tremendous thought concerning the interactions that you have incorporated conflict with.

Now; you, individually, as you incorporate evening, consistently move in a particular direction, not necessarily THINKING; but in the incorporating of evening hours, you move in a direction of evaluation of your day. And in evaluating of your day, you view the entirety of it and all of your experiences, and you classify which experiences you have incorporated that were acceptable and those which you view could have been engaged in a better manner. Therefore, you are expressing an expectation upon yourself of how you should have or could have engaged a particular interaction in a better manner.

Now; this also is associated with the mass event, for it is concerning judgments.

JULIA: Oh! I see, I think.

ELIAS: Now; you in these evening hours are expressing the judgment upon self, in expectation of yourself in how you SHOULD behave and perform in relation to other individuals, and you become disappointed within yourself.

The communication that you are offering to yourself is a precise identification: ďIN THIS NOW, Moorah, you are experiencing an expression of disappointment. You are creating an expectation and a judgment upon yourself in this now; pay attention.Ē But you merely identify the signal and you are not receiving the message; therefore, you continue the circle. You continue in these evening hours to create the same experience. You create the same judgments, you create the same expectations of yourself, and you incorporate the role within yourself of being a victim of yourself, which also correlates to the actions of this mass event.

The energy is the same. It is all moving collectively together, and this is your individual participation. You are attempting to communicate to yourself and move your attention to your communication, to allow yourself to see that you are expressing this disappointment within self in the judgment of yourself and the expectation of creating different expressions in a better manner.

Now; in the times in which you express the communication of anger, you have created within yourself initially an expression of frustration, in which you underlyingly know that you incorporate choices but are not quite objectively aware of the identification of what those choices are, and as you are not paying attention to the communication it becomes stronger and louder, and it is expressed in anger. Anger, as I have expressed, is the extreme of frustration. For as you move into an expression of anger, you are not viewing ANY choices any longer, which is also an expression of being a victim within self.

Now; do you view how your own participation in actuality does move quite in alignment with the expression of the mass?

JULIA: Yes, I do.

ELIAS: This is the significance of paying attention to the communication, not merely the signal.

JULIA: Okay. Well, I think our time is almost up, so...

ELIAS: (Chuckles) I am greatly acknowledging of you, my friend, for you ARE allowing yourself to objectively recognize your movement and your directing of yourself, and you are allowing yourself to trust yourself.

I suggest to you that you continue to validate yourself. Pay attention to your communications in emotional expressions, but continue to validate yourself in your directedness of self, and do not question your choices merely in the expressions of other individuals and that they may not necessarily agree or understand your choices. Trust yourself and your choices.

I anticipate our next meeting...

JULIA: Me, too!

ELIAS: ...and I express to you tremendous affection and encouragement, my friend. To you this morning, au revoir.
