ďExploring Focuses and Physical CommunicationsĒ

Participants: Mary (Michael), Katie (Muriel), and Aldo (Nissah), Katieís son, who is eight years old.

Elias arrives at 11:20 AM. (Arrival time is 26 seconds.)

ELIAS: Good morning!

KATIE: Good morning, Elias!

ALDO: Hi, Elias.

ELIAS: Welcome! And you incorporate questions this day, small one?

ALDO: Yeah!

ELIAS: Very well, Nissah, you may proceed.

ALDO: Is one of my focuses by the name of Alex something?


ALDO: What was that age of that focus?

ELIAS: (Chuckles) And what have you discovered within yourself, concerning this focus? Have you allowed yourself to explore or to meet this individual within your dreams or your daydreams?

ALDO: Well, I have an imaginary friend named Alex.

ELIAS: I am aware. And you speak to this individual?

ALDO: Sometimes.

ELIAS: And you play with this individual?

ALDO: Yes.

ELIAS: And how does this Alex appear to you?

ALDO: Sort of like me.

ELIAS: For he is you! (Chuckles)

ALDO: Is he? (Elias chuckles)

KATIE: Elias, Iím going to have to hand Aldo my phone; this other phone is going out. Let me hand him my phone real quick.

ELIAS: Very well. (Pause)

ALDO: Okay.

ELIAS: This is the meaning of another focus of you. Within another time and what you view as another place, there is another you. This other you may be different from the you that you know, but it is another manifestation of you. It is another attention of you.

You may easily allow yourself to speak with and play with and interact with this other you in very similar manners to how you play with other small ones now.

ALDO: Is it a bleed-through from another life when I peel off crusts of my bread? ĎCause my mom says I sure act like a girl when I pull off my crusts of bread.

ELIAS: (Laughs) Partially, for you do incorporate another focus which creates the same preference, but in this focus of you as Aldo, you express your own preference also. This is merely an expression of a preference, a like.

ALDO: Umm, I think I ran out of questions. (Elias laughs)

ELIAS: Very well.

ALDO: My sister helped me write down ones if I wasnít Alex in another life, like, ďWas I good friends with someone named Alex in another life,Ē or something, thatís if I wasnít...

ELIAS: I am understanding, but you ARE Alex, in your words, in another life, and you allow yourself to play with that you which is manifest in another life.

Now; I may express to you that this allowance that you create and the easiness that you express in seeing and playing with this other you may be an exciting example to other individuals that they may as easily play with other focuses of themselves also.

ALDO: Is Alex Alexander the Great; is that who my imaginary friend is? ĎCause my mom says I was like the best friend of Alexander the Great in one life, sort of.

ELIAS: This is a different focus, or that which you identify as another lifetime. This Alex that you play with is another focus of you, not another focus of someone else that you befriend in another lifetime. They are two different lifetimes, in your words.

ALDO: Now Iím out of questions. Want to talk to Mom?

ELIAS: Very well. (Warmly) I may express to you that I express pleasure in objectively speaking with you and meeting you.

ALDO: Hereís Mom.

ELIAS: Very well, my friend.

KATIE: Hello.

ELIAS: Good morning.

KATIE: Good morning. You had quite a lot to tell him. I wish I could have heard it all. I guess Iíll have to wait for the tape.

ELIAS: And you shall receive this. (Katie laughs)

KATIE: I donít have any big questions today, but Iíve got a bunch of little ones.

ELIAS: Very well.

KATIE: The first one is for my son Anthony. He wants to know what his connection is with the P-47 airplane.

ELIAS: Fascination in association with another focus as a pilot.

KATIE: Ah, so he flew these planes?

ELIAS: Yes, and if he is so choosing, he may be allowing himself to investigate and explore his focus with himself, and offer himself more information concerning that fascination. These, in like manner to the experiences that Nissah offers to himself, are fun experiences and explorations.

KATIE: Cool! I have that Game entry again. Iíd like to connect Ernest Holmes with Tumold in the category of ďAuthors.Ē

ELIAS: One point.

KATIE: Great! Thereís this guy on TV named John Edward that supposedly talks to the dead, and Iím just a little bit curious about what heís actually tapping into. Iím suspecting heís tapping into energy deposits of the audience thatís present. Would that be correct?

ELIAS: Partially. In actuality, there are what you may term to be growing numbers of individuals that are allowing themselves this type of action presently, in association with the movement of this shift in consciousness. For as I have stated previously, the veils of separation are being thinned tremendously. In this time framework, as you have moved into your new millennium, you now are inserting this shift in consciousness into your objective reality, and the expressions of the thinning of the veils of separation are becoming much more obvious within your reality throughout your globe.

One of the expressions of thinning these veils of separation is to be allowing less separation in consciousness in an objective manner with individuals that you identify or define as dead. For as I have also expressed previously, you are redefining your terms within your reality, and therefore also altering your perception and thusly redefining your reality and how you create it and how you interact within it.

In this expression, this individual and many other individuals also focus their attention in specific directions in allowing themselves to interact with individuals that are perceived to be dead and therefore removed from your physical reality. They are redefining their definition of death, and in redefining the terminology of death, they are also redefining the reality of death and thinning the veil which has been expressed previously between physical and nonphysical.

In this, as they move through their individual process in accordance with this shift in consciousness, what they are initially interactive with is a combination of energies. They are allowing themselves an openness in awareness to the energy expressed by the individuals physically present in proximity to themselves and allowing themselves to tap into layers of expressions of the physically focused individuals, but they are also allowing an openness to be interactive with some aspects of the energy of the individual that is perceived to be dead.

KATIE: Okay, theyíd be tapping into individuals that are actually in transition?


KATIE: Okay, cool! (Laughs)

My friend Gary would like to know his essence name, family and alignment.

ELIAS: And your impression as to family and alignment?

KATIE: I donít have a real strong impression on him. Iím going to ask on my ex-husband, too, and I have a strong impression on him.

ELIAS: Very well. Essence name, Briana, B-R-I-A-N-A (bree AH nah). Essence family, Ilda; alignment, Vold.

KATIE: Oh, thatís way far away from what I wouldíve guessed! (Laughs)

Okay, on my ex-husband, I already know his essence name but I want to take a stab at his family and alignment; Iím thinking Sumafi/Gramada.

ELIAS: Correct.

KATIE: Oh, very good!

Off and on for a while Iíve been feeling this energy that I havenít yet identified, but it seems to approach from the left hip and spreads from there. Can you tell me who this is, or what?

ELIAS: This is an energy that you are creating; this is an energy that you are manifesting as an avenue of communication. In the moments that you experience objectively this energy movement, you are communicating to yourself to pay attention to what you are creating in the moment.

You have incorporated this energy expression as a means of communication rather than offering yourself an emotional communication, for this type of expression is viewed as more unusual, and therefore you shall notice in the moments that it is being created.

At times you choose to not pay attention to emotional communications and ignore the message which is being communicated in the moment. Therefore, your subjective awareness chooses another avenue of communication that is unfamiliar and that your objective awareness will be noticing of.

KATIE: Well, it does get my attention, thatís for sure.

ELIAS: In these moments, do not merely allow yourself to pay attention to the physical energy expression, for this is not the point. This is the signal, in like manner to emotions; the feeling is the signal, but there is also a message which is being communicated. In similar manner, the subjective awareness is creating another avenue of communication to the objective awareness, and in these moments you are communicating a message to yourself to pay attention in that moment to what you have been creating and your association with what you have been creating, for this is an opportunity for examination of motivation.

KATIE: Okay, Iíll keep that in mind. And it does seem to me, looking back on it, that this most often happens when Iím depressed or on the verge of getting depressed.

ELIAS: This is, in actuality, Muriel, a tremendous opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with your motivations and how you move yourself in certain expressions.

KATIE: Thank you.

ELIAS: You are quite welcome, my friend.

KATIE: Speaking of motivations, I seem to have acquired a stiff neck recently, off and on. It seems to be triggered around shifting relationships, and Iím wondering if thatís what the stiff neck is about, or if you can tell me something a little more specific.

ELIAS: I am acknowledging of you; you are correct that this manifestation is directly associated with the subject matter of relationships and your interaction with other individuals. In the time frameworks in which you are projecting your attention and holding it upon the other individual, or upon the concept of relationships and how they SHOULD be expressed, you are turning your attention away from you. And as you move your attention away from you, you also limit your clarity, you limit your choices, and you limit your ability to create what you want.

This is manifest in your physical expression of tension and stiffening within your neck, which offers you the objective imagery that mirrors what you are creating within self. For in the stiffening and the tension of the neck, you also limit your mobility of head. Therefore, you create difficulty and thickness and limitation, not merely in movement physically, but as this is affecting of the physical mobility of your head, it also is affecting of your objective physical outer senses. It requires more effort to turn and visually see.

KATIE: See both sides of an issue.

ELIAS: And to view yourself.

KATIE: Okay. That makes sense! (Katie and Elias chuckle)

Letís see. Iíve had recurring dreams about tornados. I havenít asked you about this before, have I?

ELIAS: Partially; continue.

KATIE: Well, if I have, I can probably just go look it up. But I had one turn up again, and if I did talk to you about it, I donít remember what you told me. (Elias chuckles) I think it has something to do with trauma of the shift. They turned up in a dream recently that Tom was in, too.

We were in some seaside resort and were about to be hit by a tornado, and no one really seemed to be too bothered with it. They all filed downstairs and off to another building, not the safest part of that building as it was back up on the second story. We were waiting for the tornados to hit, and they just either dissipated or went another way. Iím not entirely sure what these are about.

ELIAS: You present to yourself this type of imagery at times to offer yourself a communication concerning anticipation in relation to expectations, beliefs concerning interactions and relationships with other individuals. For in this, as you project your attention into expectations and anticipations in relation to yourself and to other individuals, you create a tumultuous movement. But as you allow yourself to turn your attention to the now, you dissipate the whirlwind of the anticipation and the expectations.

KATIE: Interesting, because Iíve been talking with Tom about possibly meeting at the group session in Pennsylvania in October, and in this dream I kept seeing him, but I wasnít sure it was him. I havenít seen him in four years, and the only picture I have of him is even further out of date than that. When the tornado dissipated, I finally asked him if he was Don. I was hoping he would offer, ďNo, my name is Tom,Ē and that would be settled; but he just said no and smiled Ė but then I knew he was Tom! (Laughs)

ELIAS: Very well!

KATIE: He likes being mysterious. (Laughing, and Elias chuckles) And the tornado just dissipated. But it never frightened me, this tornado didnít.

ELIAS: It is not necessarily a question of an expression of fear. It is merely a recognition of how certain expressions within your reality are created in offering yourself information concerning what you create in anticipation and expectations projecting futurely, and the offering to yourself of information that as you turn your attention to yourself and to the now, you also dissipate that movement and that energy, and many times eliminate that expression entirely within your experience.

KATIE: So thatís what happened when I finally asked him who he was.

ELIAS: Correct, for your attention was turned and no longer held in the direction of anticipation and expectation, which creates the whirlwind. But in turning your attention to self and holding your attention within the now, you address to this individual in expressing a question, turning your attention away from the anticipations and expectations, and there is no materialization of the whirlwind.

KATIE: Okay, so Iím just more relaxed.

ELIAS: And offering yourself information concerning the importance of holding your attention in the now.

KATIE: Thereís been a lot of talk recently on the Elias List (1) about World War II focuses, and Iím wondering if this might have been a chapter focus in this Elias book?

ELIAS: No. I have offered information recently in identification of that focus, in identifying this as a chapter focus but of another book.

KATIE: Oh, okay. I have this book by Thomas Troward, The Edinburgh and Dore Lectures on Mental Science. And in the very last paragraph on page 111, the end of the Edinburgh lectures, it says, ďAnd now his followers await the coming of the artist Elias, who shall bring the magnum opus to its completion. Let him that readeth understand.Ē That blew me away when I read that! Does this have anything to do with you?

ELIAS: Figuratively speaking, yes. (Katie laughs and Elias chuckles)

KATIE: ďFiguratively speaking.Ē Could you elaborate on that?

ELIAS: This is couched within the associations and beliefs of the writer in alignment with a recognition of some expression of reality, but also in alignment with the individualís associations with prophecy.

KATIE: Okay, but it is a reference to you and the shift?


KATIE: Too funny!

ELIAS: Couched in strongly expressed beliefs.

KATIE: Yes, I understand. And for those whoíll be reading the transcripts, this book was written in 1904. (Laughs)

ELIAS: In the beginning throes of the movement of your shift in consciousness.

KATIE: Yes, indeed! Iíve only got one thing left on here. I had a dream during the Huntsville gathering here last October in which I met with you, and in the dream you were a tall, slender black man. Iím just wondering, is this one of your focuses or is this just my own imagery?

ELIAS: Yes, I have incorporated a focus in that manifestation.

KATIE: Is this a focus thatís in a time period future to this one?

ELIAS: No. But you also may be investigating, for this is a focus in which you also incorporate a focus and have engaged a brief objective meeting with myself.

KATIE: Okay. So, it wasnít the Oscar Wilde focus that Iíve met. I mean, youíd mentioned that there were two in which we hold an acquaintanceship.

ELIAS: This is not expressed in that identification, my friend, for this focus merely expressed a brief meeting, and no acquaintanceship was created, so to speak.

KATIE: Did I know your Oscar Wilde focus?


KATIE: Can I just ask one little question as to the time period of this tall black focus of yours? (Pause)

ELIAS: Time framework, 1600s.

KATIE: Oh, goodness, okay. Was it in Africa?


KATIE: And I was a young black man?


KATIE: I had a connection with a focus that I had there quite some time ago. I never confirmed it or anything, but I felt pretty confident about it. I was going off on a journey, and I had this rug or blanket, it was a heavy blanket that was rolled up, and I was carrying it on my back. It was a rites-of-manhood kind of thing that I was doing; I was to go off on my own for a little while. Would this be the same focus?


KATIE: Okay, cool! Iíve run out of questions early. (Laughs) There was another question Anthony wanted me to ask of you.

ELIAS: Very well.

KATIE: Does he have a focus as a dolphin? (Pause)

ELIAS: No, but I may express to you that there is association with another essence and his essence, in similar tone and in allowance of mergence with each other, that offers a familiarity of the expression of this type of physical manifestation of the dolphin.

KATIE: Iím not clear on what you just said.

ELIAS: His essence and another essence that does manifest in the form of a dolphin merge, and this mergence offers his essence a familiarity with the expression of, experience of and manifestation of the dolphin.

KATIE: Heíll be tickled to hear that. Can he tap into this to help him swim better?

ELIAS: If he is so choosing, yes!

KATIE: Okay, good. (Laughs) ĎCause as much as he loves the water, he also really loves his little floating devices, when heís quite capable of swimming very well. (Elias chuckles) Maybe this would help him a little bit.

ELIAS: Quite!

KATIE: Okay, I think thatís all I have.

ELIAS: Very well, my friend. I may express to you an encouragement in your movement presently. You are offering yourself many physical expressions of communication which at times may be confusing to you. Allow yourself to be recognizing that these expressions are merely your choice to be offering yourself different avenues of communication. But I also encourage you to continue to pay attention to the emotional communications that you express within yourself to yourself, for these hold significance or what you may term to be importance also, and shall offer you much more clarity in viewing WHAT you create and HOW you create within your focus now.

In this, you also shall allow yourself a clearer understanding and familiarity with yourself and creating a relationship with self, rather than concentrating your attention upon the expressions of other individuals in creating relationships with them. Are you understanding?

KATIE: I think so, yes.

ELIAS: This shall be quite beneficial to you within this time framework in allowing you much more of a familiarity with self and also creating a greater expression of comfort within self.

KATIE: That sounds pretty good Ė not to place a judgment on it, though! (Laughs)

ELIAS: (Laughing) It matters not, my friend! I may express to you, acceptance of the belief system of duplicity is not attained yet, in your terms. Therefore, you may allow yourself not to compound your reinforcement of duplicity by discounting yourself in the moments that you are creating a judgment of good or bad. Ha ha!

KATIE: Okay! (Laughs)

ELIAS: Movement into acceptance is the expression of ďit matters not.Ē

KATIE: This is true. Let me just ask you, that same energy you were talking about, the one that approaches me on my left hip, itís the same thing with the energy that I feel that approaches me on my left shoulder, isnít it?


KATIE: I thought they were connected.

ELIAS: You are correct.

KATIE: Well, weíre close enough to being time.

ELIAS: Very well, my friend. I offer tremendous energy to you in encouragement. I also extend to you great affection, as always, and I anticipate our next meeting and our continued interaction.

KATIE: Hey, our next meeting may be in October in Pennsylvania!

ELIAS: Ah, an objective interaction!

KATIE: I like those!

ELIAS: I shall be anticipating. To you, in tremendous affection Ė as I have stated, be encouraged Ė au revoir.

KATIE: Au revoir.
