April 1, 2006 Group Session Update

Those of us who couldn't attend are always interested in what direction Elias takes, and what the main themes were. Lynda Symans sent us her summary of the recent get-together in Brattleboro, VT:

“The subject matter was:

“What is your truth?
“Why bad things happen.
“What is your motivation?

“Elias opened the session by asking everyone what their truth was and several people answered with all different things and Elias helped some clarify or identify their truth and then he went on to say that this wave of truth is intensifying (many groans after he said it ). He said that very few people have actually identified a truth of theirs and that this is why the wave was intensifying.

“He emphasized paying attention to the mundane actions of each day and noticing how those actions were connected to a truth.

“There was really good interaction...really great. I hope Alicia, Paul, Ella and Jeremy fill in here. Elias took a break and when he came back he went around the room to each of the people who had said what truth they thought they were dealing with and repeated them and gave examples and more explanations of each one. That just blew me away because I couldn't remember my name by that point and Elias just picked up the ball right where he left off and remembered what each one said...it was, in my perception, a really personal connection with each person who expressed their truth and so helpful in defining it.

“Elias stressed that our truths are not bad but that the piece that made conflict was expecting others to have the same truths we do...a very automatic action and he reminded everyone that our truths are our guidelines for us and preferences.

“Hernan and Magdalena from Chile were there and it was so great to see them again. Carole from Connecticut surprised us and showed and Alicia and Ken (Oba) were surprises too...you never know if a softie is really gonna show or not LOL! AND THEY DID!

“Mary wanted to do a Mary talk but she was too booked with privates (boo hoo!) but I think next time she will and next time looks like it's going to be sometime in July but for sure in October.

“I miss everyone mode like usual...for me it's like when I was little and my family would travel from the East to see us in California and I was so excited and then when they had to go I was so sad :-).

“...So, I just got out of the shower and realized I didn't convey what I thought was the most important piece of what Elias had to say in the group session and that is that after a pretty intense first half of the session he said in the second half that our greatest desire was to KNOW we can create what we want in objective reality when we want it and that the process to get there was the most important piece...we can trust the goal...it will happen but it happens in the moments of the process.

“Someone asked how many zillions of beliefs did we yet need to identify and Elias said that there were only a few CORE beliefs that needed addressing to...huge sigh of relief there, belief me LOL!

“Anyway...I just want to get this out here and now I can go to work...oxoxox”

Archive Project Updates

The DVD Archive is one of those “behind the scenes” projects whose goal is to ensure that the legacy of the Elias forum continues long after we’re gone. At last count, Mary had recorded over 1,900 sessions on videotape, and recently began recording direct to DVD. Since DVDs take up less space, we began to transfer the ’95 sessions from Ron and Cathy Churchman’s video archive. We’ve finished through session 464. Michael Friedman recently volunteered to continue the DVD process, and Ron has begun to send him tapes. Thanks Michael!

The 1995 transcripts are one third done, as we have finished through session 21. That means only 42 more to go!

Gem of the Month

The Gem of the Month is a regular feature that provides an excerpt from a recent transcript that captures a snapshot of essential Elias.

This month’s gem is taken from the republished group session in Düsseldorf, Germany:

ELIAS: “Religion! Ah, and every individual within this room shall flinch and express, ‘I do not believe in religion any longer. Therefore this is not a truth, and I do not incorporate THAT belief.’ (Chuckles slyly, and group laughter) Ah, but you do! You may THINK that you do not, for you do not participate in an establishment, you do not attend a congregation with other individuals and worship. Ah, but do you not worship? Are you so very sure?

“I may express that every individual within this room incorporates some metaphysical beliefs in tremendous strength, and is this not merely your new religion? And it incorporates the same beliefs, the same expressions as every other religion. It is merely expressed in a different manner, in which you view yourselves to be very enlightened and progressive.”

BALBINA: “Aren’t we?” (Laughter)

ELIAS: “Are you?”

BALBINA: “I hope so!” (Laughter)

ELIAS: “And do you think that an individual that worships Allah does not believe that they are very enlightened?”

BALBINA: “Oh yes, they believe like everybody...”

ELIAS: “Correct, and do you say that your enlightenment is not a belief?”

BALBINA: “Yes, probably, but it’s also...”

ELIAS: (Interrupting her and grinning) “Yes! These are not beliefs – this is a truth!”

BALBINA: “Well, yes, it’s a truth, but larger than...”

ELIAS: “AH! Larger! (Laughter) Ah! And I may express to you that any Christian also shall express to you that their belief and their truth is larger than yours!”

BALBINA: “I know. They even told me.” (Laughter)

ELIAS: “Yes, and the Buddhists shall express to you that they have attained true enlightenment, and their truth is larger than yours.

“Now; in this, what do you notice as a commonality? What do truths do?”

HELMUT: “Separate.”

ANNE M.: “Judgments.”

ELIAS: “Correct. They separate and they perpetuate judgments, and they block acceptance. You are no more enlightened than any other individual residing upon your planet. You merely incorporate different information.

“You draw yourselves to this information for it is compatible with your movement; it is your preference. Preferences are merely preferred beliefs. There are no expressions within your physical reality that are not influenced by beliefs. There is no “other” reality. There is not your reality that you create individually and also the other reality that you are striving to attain to, the official reality, the reality beyond your beliefs, the REAL reality. (Laughter)

“The real reality is the reality that you each individually create. That IS real. And it is, in every moment, in every expression – if you choose to participate and to continue participating in this physical dimension – influenced by beliefs. Every moment, every action, every choice is filtered through beliefs.” [session 1398, July 19, 2003]

Monthly Musings - The Ten Beliefs Systems: Physical Creation of the Universe

Last month we explored the belief system of science. This month we complete our circle with the tenth and final core belief SYSTEM: the creation of the physical universe. It seems that Elias saved the most complex for last. Although all of the ten are complex in their own right, this last area not only incorporates all of the previous nine belief systems, but ALL of the concepts presented by Elias thus far. For instance, his view of the Kosmos includes four Regional Areas of Consciousness, pools of consciousness, and “all of consciousness,” or what he used to call The Creating Universal One And Whole. His view of the Self as objective and vast subjective awareness that includes counterparts, focuses, orientations, essence, essence family intents, Dream Walkers, and more.

However, before we dig into all of that, let’s review our ten core belief systems one last time:

relationships (interpersonal/intrapersonal = other/self)
duplicity (morality/ethics)
sexuality (sexuality/gender/orientation/preference)
truth (relative truths/Absolute Truth)
emotion (emotional/feeling)
perception (perceptual/attention)
the senses (inner/physical sensing)
religious/spirituality (exoteric/esoteric)
scientific/elements of physical reality (scientific/rational)
physical creation of the universe, including accidents and coincidences (creation mythos)

The human religious and spiritual impulse can be traced to our need to understand our origins as a species, and the origins of our universe. We constantly seek to explain just how and why we and the Kosmos exists? Did God create it, or was it a random Big Bang? Does the Earth ride on the back of a giant turtle, or did it emerge from the stomach of an alligator?

Last month I pointed out that we can see three broad, overlapping worldviews in play across our planet: premodern, modern, and postmodern. The premodern worldview includes fundamentalist religious worldviews that interpret their scriptures as the literal, absolute truth revealed by God’s prophets to man. Its truths include the universe being created in seven days, and the heavens, earth, plants, animals, and humans simply “poofed-in” in that order. The modern worldview includes rational, materialist worldviews. Their truths include scientific method as the only valid way to know truth. Their creation myths center around a Big Bang and processes of linear, evolution. In this view, homo-sapiens are descendents of great apes, who in turn descended from fish, who in turn descended from ocean plants, who in turn descended from the earliest forms of bacteria that accidentally formed in the oceans.

Emerging postmodern worldviews, as I define them, attempt to honor the partial truths found in earlier, less sophisticated worldviews and integrate them into a less distorted account of things. For example, the physical “order of play” of emergence in the premodern Biblical accounts (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) is somewhat accurate. The scientific Big Bang most likely occurred, but was it the first and only, or just the latest in an endless set of cycles? And what occurred “before the beginning”? Where did all the matter come from? On this, modern science is mute and unable to comment.

So it is to these truths that postmodern worldviews seek to address, and move beyond the limits of prerational religious fanaticism, and scientific materialism, while still honoring their partial truths. As we will shortly see, Elias’ creation story provides a broad outline of the many processes involved in conscious creation. Seen in this light, the modern scientific creation myth is limited to just the physical field, or what Elias calls Regional Area 1. Mainstream science still only acknowledges the physical stuff of RA1 as real, or what can be perceived by physical senses and their extensions (microscopes and telescopes).

The nonphysical fields of consciousness, what Elias calls Regional Areas 2, 3, 4 and further inward to the pools of consciousness that form them are still UNreal, and thus quite invisible to the modern worldview! As such, modern science has a very, very limited view of physical and nonphysical reality.

However, Elias provides a robust cosmology (physical and nonphysical fields of Causal Consciousness) and ontology (a “Great Chain of Being”) that extends WAY beyond the physical field of consciousness (RA1). As we will see, Elias tells a very different story and uses some very different concepts to explain the origins of our universe and species.

As usual Elias does not invalidate premodern and modern worldviews, but relentlessly points out how narrow their focuses are. For example, did the first hominids actually emerge in Africa – in Alduvai Gorge – from ape-like ancestors and spread out from a single entry point?

ELIAS: “... For much time framework, you have accepted that your origins spring from one location. Your [modern] sciences and your [premodern] religions support this, that you hold your origins of your species upon one continent and that you have branched from there. Therefore, in this you also allow yourselves discoveries limitedly that shall support this belief system, but in widening your awareness and offering yourselves more information, opening to your consciousness and recognizing that there is much more available to you than you allow yourselves, you may also be noticing of much more information which is much more supportive of the vaster picture than merely the small picture that you allow yourselves to view presently.” [session 280, May 14, 1998]

Developing an awareness of this “vaster picture” is what defines postmodern worldviews, belief systems, and truths. They are not final, but simply hold a wider awareness than the two preceding worldview systems. In this context, then, we can explore our multidimensional Self and use current scientific methods where appropriate, and develop new ones.

Now, Elias, after Seth, uses the concept of essence families to represent the nonphysical innate intention that lovingly creates our physical universe. Also following Seth, Elias uses the concept of “before the beginning” to describe a sort of “dream-time” from which our physical field of consciousness actually emerged, and continues to emerge in each moment point. And further, everything – all physical and nonphysical processes – is conscious to some degree.

ELIAS: “‘Before the beginning,’ I have expressed that some essences of these essence families chose to remain partially manifest; not entirely physically manifest. Some chose to be physically manifest and continue. Some of those choosing to partially manifest have allowed elements of their consciousness to form your planet. Therefore, the elements of your planet, your oceans, your mountains, your trees, your vegetation, your deserts, are all aspects of consciousness, within cooperation of yourself, of these essences; deposits, so to speak, which form physical matter. Therefore, you are connected, in your terms, to all of these elements, for you have created them, within cooperation.” [session 143, December 29, 1996]

According to Elias, we exist within a “Great Chain of Being” – a vast multidimensional Self that consists of many, many nested aspects. The most remote, inward aspects are what he calls “pools of consciousness.” From them emerge the groupings of essence families that form any physical dimension. As such, our universe is nested within an infinite array of physical universes.

ELIAS: “‘Before the beginning,’ pools of consciousness arranged within cooperation and intent in choosing to be creating yet another physical focus within another dimension – that being this dimension. In this, nine pools of consciousness, that you designate now as the nine essence families, formed together in conjunction with this physical reality, to be directing of it and creating it. A physical, linear, sequential time framework was chosen to be inserted into this reality. The essences within these nine pools of consciousness chose, for what you may view to be a time period, to be functioning outside of the physical time framework, but inserting objects that you view as physical matter into the time framework. In this, it was organized and chosen that there be designations of intent within these nine pools, to be carrying out specialized actions sequentially and psychically.” [session 208, August 17, 1997]

ELIAS: “Let me present an overview of your physical reality within this dimension. At its inception, nine essence families organized, so to speak, to be creating of this particular dimensional reality. These essence families are comprised of many essences of like intent within each family. These essences initially were known as Dream Walkers; partially physically focused, but not entirely. Now, also in relation to these Dream Walkers, they are interactive with you continually, and presently also. They have not chosen to be entirely physically manifest throughout the entirety of the existence of this particular dimension. Therefore, they may be interactive with you and even appear to you, in relation to the essence family that you are belonging to.” [session 270, March 19, 1998]

Elias reminds us that the nine essence families that form our universe are not unique and absolute. There are other, parallel universes that have different numbers of essence family intentions underlying them. As such, we see the crucial importance of pure consciousness as innate intention and how it branches, fragments, and yet seeks maximum value fulfillment in all those actions.

And yet, how does all that relate to the concept of a monotheistic God? That is, did a singular God create all essences who in turn created our universe and all its species?

ELIAS: “Each physical reality holds their own equivalent of essence families. Some realities may have fewer essence families; some may have the same number of essence families. These families, as we have discussed previously, are related directly to the individual physical realities. Just as you together in a group would cooperate and volunteer to exercise your individual talents and your individual contributions if you were to be planning and creating a town or a city, these essence families also cooperate in creating this reality. This is voluntary action. Groups of essences choose individual physical realities to align with and be creating of.

“We have spoken little of your essence families to this point. We will offer an introduction to the action of the essence families this evening. ... We shall use wording within time frames, as this is also incorporated within your reality and your understanding. Therefore, I shall express that within the time ‘before your beginning,’ the essence families were, as were you.

“I shall state to you this evening another boat-rocking concept, in that there was no original God. There is no God, per se. There is what we have discussed previously as The Creating Universal One And Whole, which is named many different names by different essences and by different focuses. This term, as I have stated previously, is an action. This is not a being. In this, I wish you to understand that this action is all of consciousness. It is everything.

“You have been familiarized with the term All-That-Is [from the Seth Material]. This also is correct in terminology, as to consciousness. There is no singularity of consciousness that may be separated out to be designated as God. Therefore, God did not create your planet, or you. You created you, and you also created your planet and your universe. If you wish to place the terminology of God upon any separate entity, you may apply this term to yourselves, for you are!

“Returning to our essence families: Before what you recognize as your beginning, you were within consciousness, and aligned with the different essence families. The action of creating of this physical reality came from these nine essence families, within cooperation. Their intents during this experimental time period were different than you perceive them to be presently, for their reality was different than your reality is presently. Presently, you are physically focused. You are focused. Underline ‘focused!’ You are highly specialized, and you are singularly directed.

“Within the original, so to speak, action of these essence families, they were not so specialized. They were not so singularly focused. These, as we have stated previously, would be likened to Dream Walkers. You may identify with this terminology, for you understand the action of dreaming. The action of dreaming, or similar to this action, would have been the entirety of the reality of all of these families.

“In this reality, there was less separation. Therefore, there was more knowing of the action of counterparts of self, of consciousness. In this, the concept of you creating your reality was reality. It was not a concept. In this, the actions that you view presently as the intent of these essence families was unnecessary.” [session 138, December 08, 1996]

So just to recap for a moment, since this story always makes my brain bleed! What we have to this point is Elias’ version of The Great Chain of Being, a concept common to all major premodern religions. There is a nonphysical Primal Cause or Source, which forms pools of conscious, innate intention within which are essences. Some of these essences hold the intent of Dream Walkers. These fields of consciousness literally create universes, galaxies, solar systems, and planets. Further, they create all physical life forms, including focuses of essence.

While it’s natural to linearize these relationships, or try to organize them in terms of wider or narrower awareness, this is just a reminder to take it with a grain of salt. Elias’ story is just that, a story that seeks to unlock the deeper truths and processes involved that consciously create our universe and us! But we still have a long way to go before we unlock these secrets.

Now to return to Elias’ creation mythos, and his poetic elaboration of how nine primary forms of innate intention created our universe and all species.

ELIAS: “Initially, within the expression of this creation of this dimension of physical focus, within the desire and intent to be creating of this type of reality upon this planet and this physical focus, each essence family expressed a manifestation not completely physically focused. These you may view as your forerunners. This, be understanding, is a quite limited explanation and idea, for there was no ‘before!’ These essences have manifest throughout your ages, so to speak. You view these essences as what you term to be spirits, or aliens, or leprechauns, or fairies, or angels, or many other beings that you view to be imaginary or unexplainable. We have expressed that originally, in a manner of speaking, these essences were what you would term to be ‘Dream Walkers,’ existing within what you now view to be a dream state, physically incorporated.” [session 109, August 04, 1996]

“Within the time period of ‘before the beginning’ and the Dream Walkers, the slight objective consciousness and knowing which was held was aware of all subjective activity and understanding of all subjective activity. For the most part, all of the manifestations, within this time period of which we speak, were more subjectively oriented than objectively; this being why the terminology of Dream Walkers.” [session 140, December 15, 1996]

“This shift creates a circle, in returning you to an element of the Dream Walkers. This be the reason that I express to you of the Dream Walkers. Otherwise, it would be unnecessary to express anything of these Dream Walkers; but as you accomplish this shift in consciousness, you shall be returning to this state, so to speak. You shall be physically focused, unlike the Dream Walkers, but hold the awareness of the Dream Walkers.” [session 250, December 14, 1997]

“‘Before the beginning,’ I express that these Dream Walkers were focused within many locations of your planet. Therefore, the exchange of communication, as directed by the Ilda family, was necessary for information between different groups of individuals partially focused upon your planet. As I have stated previously, these essences were not entirely physically focused. They were translucent, and much of their occupation of this planet was likened to a dream state.

“... ‘Before the beginning’, there was no occurrence of physical reproduction, as you know of this presently. Therefore, each manifestation was a new creation within consciousness, and a new cooperation of all of these essence families. These were all manipulations and experimentations in consciousness. They were not automatic reproductions, as you view within your present now. Therefore, there was a constant exchange and interaction objectively known within all of the families. There is a constant subjective knowing presently within you of the interaction of all of the families, but you are not always objectively aware of all of the interaction. Or, of any of the interaction! (Laughter)

“Within the time period of ‘before the beginning’ and the Dream Walkers, the slight objective consciousness and knowing which was held was aware of all subjective activity and understanding of all subjective activity. For the most part, all of the manifestations, within this time period of which we speak, were more subjectively oriented than objectively; this being why the terminology of Dream Walkers.

“Also, your time element was not fully developed. Therefore, time was perceived much differently, and appeared much more elastic. In this, time could be projected and reversed at will; just as within your dream state presently, you may experience this same action. You may notice the elasticity of time elements within your dream state. You hold the ability to manipulate time elements within your dream state, for this is subjective activity.

“These beings, so to speak, partially manifest ‘before the beginning’ of each of these essence families, were more subjectively based than objectively. You have created, through your time element, a movement into almost, not quite, complete objectivity. In this state, you have reached what you term as your ‘ending point.’ You have experienced fully objectively. You have created your focus within this dimension to be manifest in almost complete objectivity, allowing for this type of experience within its purity. Therefore, having experienced this action, you choose now to move into incorporating a balance of subjective and objective activity and knowing; holding the experience of objective focus and creativity, understanding the mechanics and manipulation of objective consciousness, and creating an allowance within your shift now to incorporate also your subjective knowing and creativity; allowing yourselves the opportunity to move within your established created time element, but knowing its relativity and allowing yourselves the creativity to manipulate through your time element. This allows you an expanded freedom, in your terms.” [session 140, December 15, 1996]

Elias uses the nine essence families to convey the myriad processes involved “before the beginning." From this perspective the Big Bang merely sets certain physical processes into motion, and hints at the incredible array of nonphysical, other-dimensional processes that simultaneously complement all physical creation. The more I compare Seth, Elias, and Kris’ versions of this creation mythos, the more I realize this: even though in physical RA1 terms a video camera would only record pictures of lifeless mountains, valley, and plains like those we see on our moon, and Mars there are nonphysical processes occurring simultaneously that aren’t yet physically perceivable. At some point, that video camera would actually record the actions of the Dream Walkers as minerals, plants, fish, mammals, and humans emerge into physical forms. But these processes occur over countless BILLIONS of years, and that would require a lot of videotape and editing! LOL!

So this conscious creation myth hints at the wondrous processes the occur behind the scenes that give birth to universes, and subsequently to biospheres and ecosystems teeming with lifeforms that pave the way for focuses of essence to emerge. And while this may sound regressive and childish to modern scientific theories, there are gems of truth here that we’re still too blind to see. Talk about being “blinded by science!”

Finally, the following excerpt is a beautiful, poetic attempt to express the nonphysical processes that complement the more well known physical processes of modern science and evolutionary theory. Again, it acknowledges that our Source is nonphysical Consciousness, and our universe and all species are consciously, lovingly, and cooperatively created by Consciousness, not by random, meaningless processes.

ELIAS: “‘Before the beginning,’ pools of consciousness arranged within cooperation and intent in choosing to be creating yet another physical focus within another dimension – that being this dimension. In this, nine pools of consciousness, that you designate now as the nine essence families, formed together in conjunction with this physical reality, to be directing of it and creating it. A physical, linear, sequential time framework was chosen to be inserted into this reality. The essences within these nine pools of consciousness chose, for what you may view to be a time period, to be functioning outside of the physical time framework, but inserting objects that you view as physical matter into the time framework. In this, it was organized and chosen that there be designations of intent within these nine pools, to be carrying out specialized actions sequentially and psychically. Also it was chosen that these nine pools of consciousness, within their sequences, would also cycle in these sequences, therefore rotating within their functions.

“Initially, the pool of consciousness designated within the intent of the Formers, which has been designated as the Gramada family, initiated; inserting into your physical reality the ideas which gathered energy and formed matter.

“This shall not proceed along the lines of your [premodern] religious belief systems or your [modern] scientific knowledge to this moment in your present time framework, for each holds belief systems of how your focus has been formed, and each are misinformed.

“The Gramada family initiates the formation of the focus, the dimension, the direction of the time framework, and the instruction to the links of consciousness to be forming physical matter. In response to this action, the Hearers (Vold) respond, this being the second pool of consciousness that inserts into your physical reality, this being a response in creating elements not necessarily having to do with your physical matter; inserting into this dimensional reality the emotional-focus which is directing of your planetary conditions.

“As you move into the creation of creatures, or what you view to be life-bearing elements, you move into the action of the Bearers, (Borledim) which insert the energy into your dimension which shall be creating of all of what you view to be life. This is not limited to you and your species, but to all elements of what you view as holding life – vegetation and creatures also. They are responsible for organizing the links of consciousness which shall form into this element of living things, within the construct of matter in conjunction with your Formers, and also in conjunction with the emotional aspect which is inserted.

“Each family, each pool of consciousness is in complete harmony with the other pools of consciousness in forming the whole; but in designing a time framework which operates sequentially within the workings of moments, it has been chosen to also sequentially be creating of each element that is inserted into your physical reality.

“In response to the Bearers that insert the energy to be creating of physical life, the Zuli family or pool of consciousness (Imagers) enters their intent to the design of the forms within experimentation throughout your known history from what you view to be your beginning of time. Therefore, this pool of consciousness is responsible for all experimentations of all forms and the design of all forms within each era of your physical history – all plant life, all creatures, and all of the designs that have been chosen within experimentation of your species – not as evolution, but in separate, individual designs of each species, and the removal of those and the insertion of different designs.

“As each species continues and chooses to continue within this physical dimension, not choosing extinction, each species may alter its physical appearance within your time framework. In this, a new experiment is offered within physical form. It is not an evolution. It is a new creation. You have not evolved from your apes. You are unique within your species, and you have experimented with different forms throughout your history. So also have other creatures, each expression being new.

“As you move on within the action of your Dream Walkers and their creations, you have inserted your life. Now you move to your initiators within thought and creativity, and subsequently into communication. This would be the action of the Sumari family; the pool of consciousness of the Speakers. This pool inserts the creativity and the action of this creativity. The Ilda follows in response within the action of communication; the intent of the Tellers.

“You move now to your family of Milumet, which follows the communicators within the intent of the Watchers. They are the holders of the truth. They are your spiritualists. They insert into your physical reality that element of essence and the knowledge of essence and consciousness, that this may continue within your reality and not entirely be forgotten, even within your forgetfulness for the purity of your experience.

“In response to this pool of consciousness is inserted the intent of the Sumafi; to be the Seers, to be overseeing the information within truth that it remains undistorted and that essence is not compromised within a physical dimension. Although you hold belief systems that essence may be compromised within physical focuses, it is not.

“And lastly follows what you view on your game as your indigo, your Readers; the family of Tumold. These choose to move lastly, to be reminding you in instruction to be returning to natural states. The intent within the Tumold is not healing in the idea that you hold. It is to be directing of energy within your physical focus to be continuing to return elements to their natural state within physical focus.

“There you have the sequence of the Dream Walkers within the actions of their intents, which they insert into this physical dimension in creating your reality. In this, these Dream Walkers experienced what you would term to be in physical focus much time period, millenniums, of being not completely physically focused. Within this, physical time elements continue, but the essences partially manifesting as the Dream Walkers did not experience time within the same manner that you experience time. The allowance for manipulation of time elements within their own individual consciousness was such to be altering time in many directions, and also allowing its freedom of movement more quickly or more slowly, dependent upon the action of their choosing.

“The physical form of many, but not all, of these essences of the Dream Walkers would be quite different from what you recognize as yourselves within your species. There was not the solidity that you hold presently, for they have chosen not to be inserting themselves completely into this physical dimension. Therefore, they are partially manifest, holding the ability to create physical form that appears solid temporarily, but also holding the ability to not physically manifest solidly within matter; this being what you may term to be ‘ghost images’ at times. These essences also retained the choice to be altering of form throughout the entirety of your existence within this dimension, choosing not to be physically manifest completely ever within this dimension.

“Therefore, I express to you that throughout your history, you may hold encounters with these Dream Walkers within different forms. I have expressed mainly in the direction of the Seers, simply for the reason that most of the individuals attending this forum are Sumafi. Therefore, you identify with the Seers. This is the manifestation of the family that you belong to.

“Also within this forum, some individuals hold an aspect of Seer. I make a distinction in this which I shall explain presently. (To Vic) Excuse! (Vic is cracking up) Such seriousness! A true Seer within the aspect of the scribe, in always noticing! And you may continue!

(Vic’s note: When Elias said the word ‘explain,’ he started to say ‘express.’ As a result, it came out sounding pretty funny. This has kind of turned into a joke between myself and Elias, as I find the phenomenon itself fascinating, and therefore observe very carefully.)

“‘Before the beginning,’ these essences choosing to be the Dream Walkers were initiating of your physical dimension, but held no intent to be physically experiencing within this physical dimension. Therefore, they may be considered your initiators, but they are only a part of the whole. They are elements within pools of consciousness similar to your points of your pyramid, merely directing energy within certain intents. Within consciousness, which is unlimited – underline – many, many other essences were choosing to physically manifest within this dimension. These essences may be belonging to the same families or aligned with the same families, but not a Dream Walker; therefore physically inserting themselves within actual matter into this dimension for the experience of this physical dimension. These essences hold a difference from the Dream Walkers, choosing to be completely physically manifest within this dimension within focuses. In this, as the Dream Walkers did not hold and do not hold to your time framework and did not create the separation for experience within physical focus, knowledge of essence and probabilities that are simultaneous, but you view to be future, was continued to be held. Therefore, knowledge of your shift, as it is simultaneous, was understood and also provided for.

“Knowing within simultaneous time – I am understanding that this is a very difficult concept – but knowing within simultaneous time that the action of the shift is an experimentation in consciousness that has not occurred otherwise, aspects of the Dream Walkers merged with focuses of other essences which were not Dream Walkers. Therefore, I may express to you that the Seers or the Speakers or the Watchers have never been entirely physically manifest, and I may also express to you that you are Seers; for you hold the aspect within you of these Dream Walkers, as provided within mergence of essences, in recognition of the shift within consciousness that you are accomplishing presently. These individuals within consciousness, not necessarily objectively but within consciousness, provide the same action as the Dream Walkers ‘before the beginning,’ in being the directing points of energy to be connecting with all of your physical reality to accomplish this shift in consciousness.

NORM: “... May I clarify one thing? ‘Before the beginning’ is before the creation of this physical dimension. That’s how you’re terming it. That’s what you mean by that term?”

ELIAS: “Correct; for you view a beginning with your physical elements and your physical planet and your physical selves, although there is no beginning, for all is simultaneous.”

RETA: “What would you call it, going back to before the formation of the pools of essence, back to intents that were gathering, or ....”

ELIAS: “Essence has always been, for consciousness has always been, for there is no element other than the continual now. Therefore, I express to you ‘before the beginning’ only for your own understanding within your terminology and your language. There is no ‘before the beginning’.” [session 208, August 17, 1997]

And lest we take his story too literally, Elias uses paradox to remind us to take it all with a grain of salt!

Now for this month, we are going to apply our noticing practice (NIRAA) to creation and origins beliefs in relation to this shift. There has been a lot of media coverage of the creationism vs. evolutionism debate of late. So for the first week, simply notice during the day when creation or origins beliefs arise in your awareness. Nothing further, simply notice them arise. The key for the first week is to mindfully practice noticing. The goal is to hone our attention by noticing. This is a passive part of the practice. Resist the temptation to actively engage your thought process. Five minutes a day is fine for starters.

Then, during the beginning of the second week, reflect back on the first week in toto, and explore the frequency of creation and origins beliefs. Were there times when you noticed them that surprised you? (If you are really doing the noticing, this should happen ;-) What different contexts did they occur in? Etc. Notice, that we’ve moved into the identifying and recognizing part of our NIRAA practice. See how seamless this works?

Now, for the rest of the second week, simply continue to notice, identify and recognize what creation and origins beliefs arise in your awareness. Don’t worry about addressing to or accepting. This is a BIG area. As usual, don’t go crazy, simply do the practice for 5-10 minutes throughout each day, and let it go at that. The basic idea, as always, is to notice self in relation to others, and be consistent with the practices. With a little persistence, you will begin to notice how important the belief system of the creation of the universe is in understanding how we create all our reality.
